While McCann's is known as a very good oatmeal, in the world of instant, it's average or maybe even generic. A few days ago I was at my local Safeway and purchased a box of Safeway's brand regular instant. I was amazed to find when I opened the box at home that the packaging of each packet was identical to those sold by McCann's. I placed them side by side and compared them. My conclusion is that Safeway obviously buys from the same manufacture as McCann's. I don't know who makes it, but I do k......
I have tried both McCann's Apple & Cinnamon and the Fruit & Cream. Both are excellent, but my favorite is the fruit & cream. It tastes like fresh fruit in each flavor -- each as good as the last.

McCann's Irish oatmeal is great. I love their Apples and Cinnamon variety most of all, but the fruit flavored variety comes in a close second. It's just good all the way around. Great flavor, consistency, and a very healthy alternative to greasy foods. They have the right amount of sweetness: not too sweet like some other brands. If you want a tasty breakfast and want to eat on the healthy side, you could do much, much worse.

Our family loves oatmeal, but we like variety. This product gives us both. It contains tiny but tasty fruit pieces.
